Okay I guess the comment was for something else, but this will help you.įirst thing you want to do is install VoiceMeeter Banana. As complicated as this sounds, I believe it should theoretically simplify the whole process unless/until anyone informs me of an simpler way of doing this, lol. This way, I should be able to hear everyone through my headphones, mix levels, and avoid any feedback or doubling. I'll mute those speakers via my soundcard, but use them as my Audio output source in OBS, and actively monitor them. I'll run Discord's audio out to a pair of speakers plugged into my Focusrite soundcard (I don't usually use them while streaming). I guess all I'm asking is whether or not you can actively monitor audio while using the same monitoring device as an output source? Or would it be best to hook up two pairs of headphones, one for monitoring, and one for Discord voice-chat?ĮDIT: I believe I've come up with an unorthodox solution. Thing is, I've never really tried it, as every time I try to get this set up, I'm already live, and don't want to blast anyone's speakers. I understand how to add an audio output source in OBS, and maybe I'm overthinking things, but my concern is that my audio monitoring will feed back into the audio output source, creating a feedback loop. I use the same headphones I use for audio monitoring in OBS as my voice-chat audio in Discord. My problem originates from audio monitoring. Hi, I've been working with OBS for almost half a year now, and I can't seem to come up with a streamlined method of getting my friends' Discord voice-chat audio into OBS.
